A Midi Trigger Drum Machine that improvises around a given drum beat. Max/MSP Stand alone application and patch files included.
Instructions:
1. Turn the Audio Button On
2. Press both reset buttons
3. Select Your 'Midi Out' to the program that is creating the sounds (i.e. Main Stage)
4. In the same box select which beat track (A-F) triggers which mini note.
5. Select BPM and Beats/Bar
6. Write the drum beat
7. The volume box relates to volume across the bar.
8. Probability graph controls how likely a not you have written plays
9. To turn on Improvisation click the toggle box on the bottom right
10. Mixup means that notes triggered on one track output on another, the bar to the far right of each track controls this probability if turned on.
11. The box on the bottom left enables you to store beats and automatically change between them.
