We were looking for a date-night-in activity, and had a piece of wood left over from a shipping crate. Process wise I quite liked how detailed and intricate the first part of the process was (cutting out the stencil) versus the messy random second part (spray melting crayon with a hairdryer). 

Stage 1.

Create and cut out a stencil.


Stage 2.

Using a hairdryer spray melt a crayon across the canvas, using different colours in separate layers. 



Stage 3.

Remove stencil and frame
